Leaves: Narrow oblong or lance-shaped. 1-8 cm long. With a sticky, rough surface. Flowers: Typical paper daisy flowers, bright yellow with many petal like, soft, pointed bracts surrounding a central disk. Fruit and Seeds: Dry, oblong, rectangular in cross-section, smooth with golden parachuting bristly hairs. Habitat: This native plant inhabits grasslands, open woodlands, and dry forests. Distinguishing Features: Rough, sticky textured leaves and stems distinguish from other native paper daisies (tribe Gnaphalieae). Impacts: Note - this is a native plant.
