Description: Plant Form Medium tree. Size Up to 15 m tall. Stem Very rough, corky bark. Leaves Typical Sheoak (Casuarinaceae), tiny leaves form rings around long thin drooping branchlets in segments. Flowers Small, in dense groupings at the end of branches. Fruit and Seeds Clustered in a cone 1-2 cm long. Habitat Bushland, wetlands, riparian areas. Distinguishing Features Very hard to distinguish from other Sheoaks (Casuarinaceae) and can hybridise. Weed Status: Priority Weed Weed Type: Environmental Lifeform: Woody/tree
