Family: Asteraceae Scientific name: Erigeron sumatrensis Description: Plant Form Erect annual herb to 200 cm tall, usually unbranched below inflorescence. Leaves undivided, linear, with entire margin, 40-100 x 5-12 mm. Flowerheads many in large panicle, 4-6 mm long, 6-10 mm diam. Fruits pale, minutely hairy, with pappus (parachuting hairs) ca. 3 mm long. Distinguishing Features Taller than Conyza bonariensis, pappus brownish, and inner side of aged, reflexed involucral bracts reddish-brown.
